GenAI-supported collaborative project-based language learning: effects on EFL undergraduates' achievement and autonomy

A 12-week quasi-experiment with 53 Saudi female computer-science undergraduates linked GenAI-supported collaborative language projects to larger gains in reading, vocabulary, writing and learner autonomy, with no differential grammar effect and important limits from two intact classes.
